Amarjeet Bhagat has elected as MLA from Sitapur Assembly Constituency for 4th Consecutive term. He is a very senior leader of Indian National Congress. Currently, he is Honorable Minister of Food, Civil supplies, Culture, Planning, Economics & Statistics.
Sitapur MLA Amarjeet Bhagat was sworn in as the 13th minister of the Bhupesh government on Saturday. He has been given the responsibility of Food, Planning and Culture Department. At the Raj Bhavan, Governor Anandiben Patel administered the oath to Bhagat. Sitapur MLA Amarjeet Bhagat is the third minister in Sarguja region after TS Singhdev and Premasay Singh Tekam in the Bhupesh cabinet.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Assembly Speaker Dr. Charan Das Mahant, Leader of Opposition Dharamlal Kaushik, Congress State In-charge PL Punia, PCC Chief Mohan Markam, former Assembly Speaker Gaurishankar Aggarwal and other public representatives and officers were present during the oath. CM Baghel has given the plan from him, food from Mohammad Akbar and culture department from Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu to Bhagat.
